First Eucharist

Sacramental Preparation

The Registration for First Holy Communion Program for the catechetical year 2022-2023 is now closed.
Ongoing Catechetical Formation is open year-round from August to March.

Sacramental Preparation

The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” “The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.” (CCC #1324)

We are accepting registration for the Sacramental Preparation Program (First Reconciliation and First Eucharist) for children who have received Baptism and going into grade 2 or higher.

Our Sacramental Preparation Program prepares second graders and older for their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Children must have been enrolled either in a Catholic school or in our ongoing Catechetical Program with consistent attendance last year, in order to participate in our Sacramental Preparation Process.

It is expected that parents enroll their children in the First Grade program prior to their participation in Second grade Sacramental Preparation.

If your child is in 2nd grade but did not attend any Catechetical Program in our parish or another parish last year, they will have to go to a year of formation program and will not receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist in 2023.

Due to the limited space in each classroom, registration will be treated as first come, first in. Registration is not complete until we have received a copy of your baptism certificate and tuition has been paid.
