Rise Against Hunger Event Nets Great SFC Turnout

Thank you to all who volunteered for the Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event held Saturday, March 16th
The event was coordinated by  the Adams Family and helped pack more than 10,000 meal kits for distribution in poor countries around the world. This is also a good opportunity for students who need community service hours. Lunch will be provided.

The Adams Family thanks everyone who gave their time to the Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event on March 16th, packing over 10,000 meals.

50 volunteers were needed; we got over 70!

We give special thanks to our food and drink donors: Amie Dunn, Melanie Baldoz, Chuck Ogden and Nikki Dickey, and Jason of China China Catering; our outreach volunteers: Jean O’Connell, Sue Butler, Bob Citelli and Joan Schenck; and Fr. Michael and Mrs Tobbagi for their support. And of course, all of our school and parish volunteers. You all helped make a difference in the lives of many needy people.
