SFC Church, Groups and Organizations

More ways to get involved!

St. Frances Cabrini Parish has many ways you can get involved with the church, parish community and organizations:

Parish Life – Advisory Councils

  • Parish Leadership Team (PLT) – PLT is a group of leaders the pastor invites to share in his parish leadership. The PLT is responsible for creating a culture of leadership in the parish, helping the pastor to oversee different ethnic groups, councils, and ministries.
  • Parish Pastoral Council – Parish Pastoral Council Members meet as a body to discern God’s plan for our parish community through parish pastoral strategic planning by creating different opportunities to listen and journey with the parishioners for the parish’s growth.
  • SFC Finance Council – The SFC Finance Council assists the Pastor in all matters about parish finances. The council advises the Pastor on the financial operations of the parish, assists in the development of the parish financial plan, reviews the financial procedures of the parish, and approves the annual budget for the parish operating and capital expenditures. Parish Life – Ethnic Communities

  • Assyrian Catholic Community – The Assyrian Catholics Community of St. Frances Cabrini was formed in 2011 to unite the Assyrian parishioners under one pure Catholic family by preserving and strengthening our faith in a peaceful spiritual environment. A weekly Mass at 1:00 PM is open to all and we welcome your participation in our worship and our organization.
  • Filpino American (FilAm) Group – The SFC FilAm Group is a group of Filipino, Americans and friends who share Filipino tradition and culture with the parish community.
  • Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) – The Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) is a family-oriented, non-profit fraternal organization dedicated to promoting activities that build faith and family spirit and bring men, women and children of all ages. By joining a local branch, ICF members share their culture, heritage and religious beliefs.

Parish Life – Social Programs

  • Bocce Ball – Eat, play bocce, socialize and more! Enjoy family friendly entertainment from Summer through mid-October. SFC Bocce Courts can be rented for private parties up to 80 guests during Spring and Summer seasons. This program is manged by the ICF.
  • Cub Scouts – Cub Scout Pack 334 is chartered by SFC school and registered in BSA Pioneer District
  • Fiesta – Once a year, the SFC community gathers for fun and fellowship with food, games and rides. This three-day event is the largest parish event of the year, bringing together neighbors, parishioners, school parents and students.
