Information & Technology Ministry

Mission:

The mission of the SFC Information and Technology ministry is to make the missionary disciples of Christ through proper communication and available technology to create a written and audio-visual presence in the parish liturgical celebrations and other parish gatherings.

Goals/Objectives:

• To enhance the liturgical experiences of the parishioners by utilizing the latest audio-visual equipment available, especially the sound systems and the projectors.
• To ensure that all the parish hardware and software are maintained and functional.
• To ensure good stewardship of the church’s resources by managing costs by strategically planning technology purchases.
• To explore best practices for sharing information with the parishioners and the community.
• To review the effectiveness of ways the parish shares information like websites, newsletters, bulletins, and others.

Membership:

• Active parishioners (6-8) willing to share their gifts of time and talent in planning and implementing the ministry’s goals.
• Members should be available for monthly or other required meetings when needed.
• Members should be willing to reach out and recruit volunteers to help.
• Members are an advisory group to the pastor, and they collaborate with the parish priests and other parish ministries for the good of the parish community.
