Greeters and Ushers
Greeters are the first faces visitor and potential new parishioner see at Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Parish. Greeters are friendly and project a warm welcome to our parish.
Ushers are a key aspect of hospitality at our parish. Ushers greet people before Mass, help them find seating, take up the Offertory Collection, and distribute bulletins after Mass.
Here is a brief outline of the Ministry Duties:
Arrive at the church about 15 minutes before Mass, and stand by one of the entrance doors. Greet people! Smile! Say “Hi”, ask them how they are doing, help people up the stairs or ramp if they need it. Make people feel welcome and that they matter to us as a parish (because they do).
After Communion, go to one of the exit doors and hand out bulletins. Say goodbye to people, wish them a good day or something similar
New volunteers are welcome to join the Greeter Ministry. Simply complete this form and email it to James Sawaya at sawaya24@sbcglobal.net.
