Kelly Dodds a Saint in the City

Congratulation to Leigh High School Senior, Ms. Kelly Dodds, upon earning her nomination to the annual Diocese of San Jose Dept. of Vocations “Saints in the City” Event. Kelly received the “Saint Francis of Assisi” Award from Most Reverend Bishop Oscar Cantu for her role model of faith through her actions of service at St. Frances Cabrini parish. For this award Kelly puts her faith into action weekly as a catechist aide in Religious Education for a few years now, working with the First Holy Communion students and currently with the Confirmation students. She also is a Eucharist Minister, and you can see her in action at the Thanksgiving and Christmas toy & food drives. On any given Sunday, Kelly is a catechist with CLOW, a Eucharist Minister or a greeter. Furthermore, she is highly involved with the Thanksgiving and Christmas toy & food drives at St. Frances Cabrini. She says she learned how to give back from her family, especially from her Grandfather, Bob Dodds, who was an extraordinary church volunteer at St. Frances Cabrini for many years. Congrats Kelly!
