Bocce Ball

Come join the fun!

Family Summer Entertainment.

Thursday Night Bocce Ball at St. Frances Cabrini is back once again delivering family summer entertainment through mid-October.

Eat, play bocce, socialize and more!

The Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) who oversees the maintenance of the bocce courts hosts Thursday evening events beginning mid-April to mid-October, weather permitting.bocce ball pictures

Gates open at 6 PM. The courts are equipped with picnic tables and attendees are invited to bring their dinner to enjoy before playing bocce. After dinner, players head for the courts while others continue their socializing. Sometimes decks of cards appear and a festive card game ensues.

There is a nominal fee for those who wish to play bocce. Members of Branch 191 pay $3 and non-members pay $5. Even if you have not played bocce before, there is always an experienced player ready to help you learn. The ICF hopes you come by some Thursday evening to experience its hospitality and enjoy the wonderful game of bocce.

For more information regarding the Thursday night gatherings contact Lonnie Swarringim (408) 293-2128. For reservations to hold a party at the bocce courts contact Camille Orlando 408-559-0688.
