๐Ÿ””๐Ÿ””๐Ÿ”” May Update: Masses, Anointing, Reaching Parish Staff & Priests

Though our regularly scheduled weekday and weekend masses are suspended due to Covid 19, we hope you will join us for our 5pm live-stream mass on Saturdays 5:00pm and on Sundays at 11:00am.ย  We encourage parishioners to remain connected to their parish community and to pray for each other as we all face different challenges with the Shelter-in-Place. The Diocese of San Jose continues to livestream Sunday Masses in various languages. Information on these Masses and other spiritual resources are provided by going to dsj.org/coronavirus.

We encourage our parishioners to continue their Sunday envelope offering by either placing it in the mail slot (to the left of the front door) at the parish office or by U.S. post. Your support of our parish is needed and appreciated as we look for ways to best serve our parishioners at this time. Your Sunday Offertory sustains this parish. If you wish to sign up with Faith Direct, a leader in church eGiving, please visit www.faithdirect.net

Mass intentions will be said in private by our priests. We are not able to except requests for new mass intentions currently. Individual Confessions will be heard by appointment. Please call 408-879-1120 and follow the prompts to reach one of our priests.

For Anointing of the Sick where one is at home and in danger of death, please call the SFC emergency line at 408-912-0440. For Anointing of the Sick where one is in danger of death at Good Samaritan Hospital, call the DSJ emergency line at 408-345-2445. Please state the nature of your request and be sure to leave a callback number when calling either of the emergency lines.

Reaching Parish Staff and Priests

If you have questions about Sacramental Certificates or for questions about Faith Direct online giving, please call Sue Butler, parish office secretary at 408-879-1130. For questions on baptisms, religious education or sacrament needs for your child, call Joan Schenck, Director of Religious Education at 408-377-2125. For general questions, call 408-879-1122 and press the star key to leave a message for Jean in the general mailbox. Messages left on the 1122 line will be listened to and returned by dayโ€™s end.

We are here to serve you to the best of our ability during this unprecedented time. Please hold your parish community in prayer and keep the faith as we look to being back to normal operations as soon as possible. Visit www.dsj.org for valuable information and resources as well as Santa Clara Countyโ€™s Public Health website at www.sccphd.org/cv19Coronavirus for FAQ โ€˜s and up-to-date information.

The parish office, although closed until further notice, is monitoring emails and incoming calls. Mail is checked every day. Should you choose to drop your offertory envelopes in the mail slot at the parish office door, be sure to push your envelope all the way in through the mail slot to the left of the glass door. It will drop to a basket we have in place.

We are constantly reviewing our prevention measures and are guided by the recommendations of the local and state health officials, The Diocese of San Jose, the Centers for Disease Control, and the U.S. Catholic Bishops. We want to assure you of the steps we are taking to keep our parish and school community healthy.

Please visit St. Frances Cabriniโ€™s Facebook page at Facebook/sfcsjca as well our weekly bulletin here on our website to read about your parish community.

Please, Stay Safe and Stay Connected.
