Eucharist

Eucharist / Holy Communion

The Eucharist, or Communion, is both a sacrifice and a meal. We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins. As we receive Christ’s Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God.

At St. Frances Cabrini Parish, a child wishing to make their First Holy Communion must:

  1. Be Baptized by the Catholic Church
  2. Be 16 years old or younger (17 years or older must go through the RCIA program)

For more information please contact the St. Frances Cabrini Parish Office at 408-879-1122 or email parish_office@sfcabrini.org.
